With Chery and the Para-Athletes’ Triumph, the 'Born to Rise' Story Is Just Beginning
The 2025 Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG) recently concluded successfully in Dubai. For the athletes, the end of the Games marks not a finish line, but the start of a new journey. As the applause fades and medals are stored away, how does the spirit of “Born to Rise” live on? As the official partner of the Games, Chery launched “Welcome Home Ceremonies” simultaneously in Malaysia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and Iraq, ensuring the belief of “Born to Rise” travels back with the athletes to continue shining in their homelands. This was not merely a victory celebration—it was a story of shared spirit and lasting companionship. Chery is transforming “With Chery, Born to Rise” from an event slogan into a genuine emotional bond with each athlete, supporting every striver with the warmth of technology and the care of human connection.
Guided by Technology, Rising Side by Side
As the triumphant motorcades rolled through each country, Chery lit up their most iconic landmarks—not with buildings or lights, but with ceremonies blending technological warmth and heartfelt celebration.
In Malaysia, a procession of 26 Chery TIGGO9 CSH vehicles stood in flawless formation like a moving corridor of honor, offering the highest tribute to the nation’s returning heroes. The Malaysian delegation secured 39 medals at the AYPG, including 14 golds. The Malaysian Minister of Youth and Sports praised the athletes’ perseverance and expressed special gratitude to Chery for its end-to-end support—from providing event escorts to establishing an incentive fund—hailing it as “a true model of partnership value.”

In Indonesia, technology and humanity came together in a different light. The Chery TIGGO family stood poised at the homecoming site, greeting the delegation with poised confidence. Many athletes, fresh from competition, paused to experience the vehicles’ craftsmanship and performance firsthand. One athlete shared: “Stepping from the arena into the car, I felt instant comfort—the seats’ support and shock absorption are exceptional, really helping ease muscle fatigue after long hours of sport.”

In Iraq and Kazakhstan, Chery offered encouragement in a more tangible form—delivering promised incentive awards to medal-winning athletes, fulfilling its pre-Games commitment. This support was not only financial recognition but a heartfelt affirmation of the athletes’ dedication, embodying Chery’s localization philosophy: “In somewhere, For somewhere.”
How can technology serve kindness? Throughout the AYPG 2025, from the reliable escort of the TIGGO family to the engaging interactions with Mornine and Argos, Chery’s technological presence was constant. This companionship echoes Chery’s own journey of perseverance. Just as athletes embody “Faster, Stronger” through sheer determination, Chery began 27 years ago from a small workshop in Wuhu and has risen onto the global stage through relentless innovation. Together, they reveal the deeper meaning of “With Chery, Born to Rise”: true rising is built on daily, unwavering persistence.
Chery’s global strategy has always placed corporate social responsibility at its core. From football and rugby to sailing and rally racing, Chery’s sustained involvement in global sports has created a profound resonance between the brand’s pioneering spirit and the essence of athletic endeavor. This passion for the sports arena extends naturally into ESG initiatives—environmental stewardship, children’s welfare, and community support. On and off the field, Chery is turning every action into a warm, supportive force that helps strivers worldwide move forward.
From standing together before the Games, to guarding every step during competition, to celebrating triumph across four nations, Chery has journeyed from commercial collaboration to shared purpose. It aims not only to provide vehicles but to become a trusted companion on the path of growth for strivers everywhere. Moving forward, Chery will continue to write with innovation as its pen and responsibility as its ink—joining every soul around the world that refuses to settle and strives to rise—to co-write the next story of breakthrough, warmth, and growth. Because true victory always begins when the next journey starts.
