Co-Creation by the Campfire: CHERY Invites Users to Help Shape TIGGOX7 Through “Co-Creation. For Family”
On 22 October 2026, CHERY held a fireside gathering for community representatives on the lawn at the Longshan Road campsite. Centred on “Co-Creation. For Family”, the outdoor camping setting created a relaxed space for conversation. Participants from around the world explored TIGGOX7 up close and helped shape its development through collaborative discussions, a vehicle preview and research into real-life use scenarios.

From the lifestyles they aspired to and their impressions of the vehicle to the qualities a next-generation family exploration SUV should offer, participants spoke freely about everyday life, family travel and their experiences of using a car. Together, they identified real-life vehicle-use scenarios and emerging needs to inform the development of next-generation models and help create the Dream Car families want. In this way, “Together. For Family” became more than a philosophy, taking practical shape through product improvements and user co-creation.
A Fresh Approach to Dialogue Creates a Relaxed Setting for Co-Creation
Moving beyond the one-way presentation format of a conventional vehicle preview, the fireside gathering opened a two-way conversation between CHERY and its users. With Dream Life, Dream Car and Dream Share guiding the discussion, the brand listened to authentic perspectives from users in different markets in an open, relaxed setting.
The conversation began with Dream Life, as participants shared their everyday routines and their hopes for the lives they wanted to lead. They then explored TIGGOX7 up close, using the vehicle as a starting point to describe their own Dream Car. Participants also shared their aspirations for cars and future lifestyles. Coming from different regions and family backgrounds, they exchanged ideas freely, inspiring one another and generating fresh perspectives on mobility.
Two-Way Co-Creation Helps Shape TIGGOX7 and Future Models
The focus of the vehicle preview and discussion, TIGGOX7 is the first production model in CHERY’s new TIGGOX series. Positioned as a Family Comfort Exploration SUV for families worldwide, it carries the proposition “Explore Together, Enjoy Anywhere”. Designed for families who want to explore further, it extends “For Family” from everyday urban life to weekend adventures.
TIGGOX7 has a distinctive, rugged design, with a crisp, squared-off silhouette that gives it a solid, purposeful stance. One participant said of the grille, “It’s big enough to stand out, but small enough not to look oversized.” They also praised the rear and wheel design for its off-road look. Inside, a wraparound layout, physical buttons that are easy to operate by touch, and a layered combination of materials and lighting provide the comfort families need beneath the rugged exterior. Its 3-6-1 driving-mode system caters to a variety of demanding road conditions. Alongside this, active and passive safety features, including multiple airbags, a stability system for high-speed tyre blowouts and Level 2 driver assistance, make it a suitable companion for families seeking to explore further. Another participant said TIGGOX7 broadened CHERY’s line-up and could change perceptions of the brand. As they put it, “This vehicle focuses on what family really means.” They felt the vehicle could suit families with sports-loving children as well as couples working in business. Whether a product truly meets family needs must ultimately be assessed through users’ real experiences. During the preview, participants shared their impressions and suggestions based on their own travel scenarios. These first-hand perspectives will help inform improvements to TIGGOX7 and subsequent models in the TIGGOX series, bringing the products closer to families’ varied needs and habits.
Reflecting the “Together. For Family” theme of Chery International User Summit 2026, the fireside preview put CHERY’s approach to user co-creation into practice. Guided by “For Family”, CHERY will continue listening to users and working with community representatives to turn inspiration from family life around the world into better products, helping create the off-road SUV that families dream of.
