For EU. For Family: CHERY Upholds Its Commitment to Quality and Deepens Its Presence in the EU Market

Auto Show

The EU region is one of the historic centres of the modern automotive industry and a mature market with exceptionally stringent regulations and intense competition. Earning the trust of its families takes more than exporting vehicles. At the Paris Motor Show, CHERY outlined its approach: combine a deep local presence with global standards. Guided by "For Family" and the three pillars of Space. For Family, Safety. For Family and Technology. For Family, CHERY is developing quality products and services around EU needs as it continues to build a brand that resonates with families across the EU.

Building Local Capabilities and Meeting Family Needs Through Three Core Pillars

Success overseas depends on establishing local capabilities across the supply chain, technology and customer service. In 2025, CHERY launched a major push into the EU, establishing a localisation strategy spanning research and development, manufacturing, distribution and aftersales. By studying EU regulations, varied climates, demanding road conditions and family driving habits, CHERY tailors its products to local use. All products are benchmarked against EU market-entry requirements, with families’ core needs among the top priorities in product development.

"For Family" is CHERY's promise to families worldwide: dependable quality and thoughtful technology for reassuring, enjoyable journeys. At the Paris Motor Show, CHERY presented its all-star line-up and three core technology strengths, unveiled "For EU. For Family" as the EU expression of its global proposition, and set out its EU strategic roadmap. Together, these announcements underscored its long-term commitment to the EU.

Space. For Family focuses on how families travel, with spacious, flexible cabins that accommodate everyone alongside children's toys, camping equipment and luggage. The aim is to make time together more comfortable and relaxed. Safety. For Family goes beyond laboratory testing through public demonstrations and real-world trials. At the Black Sea Safety Challenge in Constanța, Romania, from 22 to 24 September, TIGGO9 CSH completed a 24-hour high-voltage battery immersion test in Black Sea saltwater and an underbody scraping test, witnessed by more than 150 journalists and experts from around the world. The tests recreated damp coastal conditions and rough, gravel-covered roads to demonstrate hybrid battery reliability under demanding conditions. Technology. For Family centres on Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) technology, which is already available in multiple models. It balances performance, energy efficiency and cabin quietness for urban commuting, family weekends and long-distance journeys, supporting more ways for families to travel.

Global Expertise and Standards: For Family on EU Roads

Across diverse global markets, quality standards provide a consistent foundation. CHERY follows "In Somewhere, For Somewhere, Be Somewhere": operate locally, serve local needs and become part of the community. "For EU. For Family" reflects this commitment to combining global capabilities with local understanding, aligning consistent quality with the needs of EU families.

This approach is supported by a comprehensive global standards framework. In addition to meeting stringent EU regulations, CHERY applies a unified global quality validation system, conducting vehicle tests under extreme conditions across diverse road environments and climates worldwide. It also conducts specialised testing, including EU vehicle cybersecurity assessments, and integrates production, sales and service operations. Common research, development and validation standards support dependable quality and consistency throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

Local investment and global standards underpin CHERY's continued growth in the EU. The brand serves families across multiple markets worldwide and has established an EU value chain encompassing research and development, production and sales, supporting local employment and economic activity. CHERY will continue to strengthen its EU presence and local product and service offering to meet families' diverse mobility needs.

From public safety testing at the Black Sea to its brand strategy announcement at the Paris Motor Show, CHERY remains committed to building vehicles for families and their loved ones. In October, CHERY will host Chery International User Summit 2026 in Wuhu, Anhui, China, further advancing its global development. Looking ahead, CHERY will continue to combine global capabilities with local expertise, placing technological innovation and families’ needs at the heart of its approach. With dependable quality and thoughtful technology, it will help more families enjoy reassuring and rewarding journeys.
