Its packaging delivers a cabin utilisation rate of 70.4%, while the flexible 5+2 seven-seat layout can accommodate three generations or a family travelling with two children and a pet without forcing compromises on comfort.

The second row offers 260 mm of powered fore-aft adjustment, together with an EZE one-touch access function. At the press of a button, the seat moves forward and the backrest folds, creating easier access to the third row when carrying a child or guiding a large dog. A low entry threshold also helps pets climb in and out more easily, reducing the need to lift them and the risk of strain from jumping.

A total of 38 storage spaces keep everyday travel items organised. Door compartments can hold pet waste bags and cleaning wipes; a concealed hook on the B-pillar keeps a lead secure; the open area beneath the centre console accommodates picture books, snacks and water bottles; and third-row compartments provide space for toys. Everything has a place and remains easy to reach.

The TIGGO9 CSH intelligent cockpit is powered by a Qualcomm 8155 chipset. Voice activation takes as little as 0.3 seconds, while four-zone voice recognition and voice control for on-screen functions allow occupants to operate displayed features without touching the screen, helping the driver stay focused on the road.

For entertainment, the 15.6-inch 2.5K central display can play cartoons and children's audio stories. A dedicated driver's headrest speaker separates audio zones, allowing navigation guidance or music in the front without disturbing children or pets resting in the rear.

On motorways and mixed rural roads, the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) help reduce driver workload. Full-speed Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), traffic-jam assistance and obstacle-avoidance functions support the driver in responding to pedestrians, cyclists and changing road conditions. Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and Door Opening Warning (DOW) can also alert occupants to approaching vehicles or two-wheelers before a door is opened, adding reassurance when children or pets are getting out.

A dedicated pet comfort mode is designed for brief stops when owners need to leave the vehicle. After the car is locked, the system maintains ventilation and cabin temperature. The mobile app displays the interior temperature in real time and sends an alert if it rises beyond the set threshold, helping owners monitor conditions while away. Pets should nevertheless never be left unattended for longer than necessary.
